Foundation and Development of Salahaddin University- Arbil
Salahaddin University, which was previously named University of Sulaimania (founded in 1968 in Sulaimania city then transferred to Arbil city in 1981 under the actual name) was established with the establishment of the Colleges of Science, Agriculture, Engineering, Administration, Arts, Education and Medicine. College of law and politics was established in the academic year 1985-1986, College of Dentistry was established in the academic year 1995-1996. In addition to BA and B.Sc. degrees, the University grants MA, MS and Ph.D. degrees in various subjects and specialization. Salahaddin University- Arbil is the oldest and biggest one in the Region and it is a member of the International Association Universities |
